Groton metal artist and owner/operator of ‘Artisan Iron’ Ray Ciemny,  fulfilled a commission for the Groton Inn, creating custom door handles for the soon-to-be-open Forge and Vine  Restaurant at the Inn. Late last winnter the Groton Fire Department helped Building Envelope Specialists identify causes of systemic water infilltrarion throughout the Library. GFD generously deployed the ladder truck allowing specialits to take a close look at cracked and broken synthetic shingles showing loss of protective coating and discoloration, moisture absorption and vegetative growth, among many other closely and carefully examined problems.

Following distribution of Life Buckets throughout our local communities of Littleton, Groton, Westford, and Ayer, 20 buckets remained.  As shown in the picture above, taken last month, the Troop chose to donate these 20 buckets to Loaves & Fishes to share with their clients.
