Smart & Sneaky, Eastern Coyote Thrives At Night, Shares Our World, But Is Seldom Seen

This incredible image of a lone coyote was captured in Groton in Scott Eggiman’s backyard on Martins Pond Road using a DSLR camera trap. Similar to trail cameras, this passive system allows Scott to capture hi-resolution images, in a studio setting with off-camera flashes, and state-of-the-art sensors. The technology is the same that National Geographic uses to capture images of Snow Leopards in the mountains of Central Asia. Photo by Scott Eggiman. http://www.scotteggimann.com

In this screen shot from a Scott Eggiman wildlife video, Coyote devours recent kill.
