Song and Dance at Grotonfest

"To dance is to be out of yourself - larger, more beautiful, more powerful . . . this is power, it is glory on earth, and it is yours for the taking" - Agnes De Mille. Dance at Grotonfest. Photo by Russell Harris

The Groton-Dunstable High School Chamber Choir made a splash at Grotonfest last Saturday as they kicked off their 2019-20 season. Their booth highlighted their many accomplishments as well as the singing tour of Spain that they are planning for April 2020. And, as the closing act of the day, they sang their way into the hearts of a big audience. The group is planning several fundraising events this year to help every student get to Spain, including a concert at St. Joseph's Church in Pepperell (Our Lady of Grace), on Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m., and an evening with Livingston Taylor, at De- vens Common Center, on April 5 at 5 p.m. You can learn more about Chamber Choir and how to support them at www. gdchamberchorus.org Photo by Jessica Gray
