Oktoberfest at Nashoba Valley

Middlesex County hills will come alive with sounds of Bavarian brass music and smell of sizzling schnitzel during an authentic Oktoberfest celebration at Nashoba Valley Ski Area. Sept. 5-7 at Nashoba Valley Ski Area, 9 Power Rd., Westford.

Bratwurst, potato pancakes, sweet baklava, traditional baked pretzels and other German favorites. Beautiful beer maids will serve hearty imported and domestic beer in the biergarten.

The Mad Bavarian Brass Band, the Double Eagle Oktoberfest Band and other regional bands will keep toes tapping, and New England's largest, most thrilling Midway will provide rides and carnival games for all ages.

Littleton residents welcomed free on Saturday, Sept. 6, as part of the town of Littleton's 300th Anniversary Celebration.
