Spring Session March 4-June 21th

Classes starting from 

April 15 – April 24

TREES OF GROTON IN CLAY (AGES 10-14):  Monday to Friday, April 15th – April 19th and Sunday April 21st 10-Noon at artist’s Groton studio.  Using real and printed leaves, students will create wonderful clay items while learning about our local trees!  Projects include a bowl, wind chimes, and a tiled tray.  Students that cannot make the final Sunday class, will be able to finish the tray on their own.  

ART WORKSHOP WITH THE GALLERY SCHOOL OF NOA (AGES 6-13):  Tuesday-Friday April 16th – April 19th 2:00-4:00pm at NOA Gallery School in Groton.  Come join us for a creative week playing with a variety of artist-grade materials.  Students will have an opportunity learn new or improve existing techniques and skills.  

PRINTMAKING FOR ALL:  Mondays, April 22nd – June 3rd 7-8:30pm.  Geared to all skill levels, this class will cover multiple printmaking methods.  Students can print on paper or fabric or both.  Come join this fun class and create a note card or a print for display – the options are many. 

FAIRY CRAFTING WORKSHOP (GRADES 1-2):  Tuesday, April 23rd 3:30-5:30pm.  Come get crafty and learn how to make sweet fairies and elves from beads, felt, yarn, bells, and other findings.

FITNESS FOR ALL:  Tuesdays, April 23, 30 and May 7,14, 21 and 28, 6:00 - 7:00 PM.  An energetic one hour fitness class for all skill levels. It will incorporate the use of free weights to help improve strength, flexibility and general fitness.

A BEGINNER’S JOURNEY WITH FABRIC DYEING: Wednesdays, April 24 - May 15, 6:00 - 8:00 PM. This course is geared for individuals interested in exploring simple fabric dyeing techniques. Participants will learn how to safely mix fiber reactive dyes as well as techniques for making beautiful fabric using low immersion dyeing methods.

-DROP-IN CLASSES-

SHAKE YOUR SOUL®: THE ENERGY OF DANCE:  Mondays, April 1st - June 3rd 10:00-11:00am (no class 4/15, 5/27).  DROP-INS WELCOME!  Get a workout at your own pace and have fun moving and grooving to great music!  

TAI CHI CH’AUN:  Tuesdays through May 28th 7-9pm (no class 4/16).  DROP-INS WELCOME! This class teaches Chen Man Ching’s short form of Tai Chi Ch’uan.  Although there is a martial arts aspect to Tai Chi, this class focuses on the health benefits of the form, both mental and physical.  All levels welcome!
