-So Many Opportunities For Community Connection and Education-

Small Museum Gems: Harvard Art Museums:  Wednesday, May 15 10:00 a.m.  In May, join us for a general tour at the Harvard Museums in Cambridge and see the preservation of the Otto Piene sketch books recently donated by Elizabeth Goldring.

Groton’s Architecture From The Colonial Period To The Twentieth Century:  Thursdays, May 16 - May 30 7:00-8:30 p.m.  Learn how Groton’s architecture has evolved and changed over the centuries.  This class will spotlight important Groton buildings, mostly historic houses, and set them against the social and architectural trends of their periods.

Photographic Story Telling Workshop: How Your Pictures Can Tell A Story:  Friday, June 21, 6:00-9:00pm ~ Saturday, June 22, 9:00am-9:00pm *group dinner included ~ Sunday, June 23, 10:00 am-3:00 pm.  Explore the subtleties of storytelling through photographs and the impact that our framing, lens selection, precision and choice of the decisive moment can have on our final images. By creating individual visual narratives, we have the opportunity to enhance and reveal the manner in which we see the world.  Through our own innate and unique artistic expression, rather than through technique, we will seek to improve our images and define an intimate personal narrative that we will share with each other on the last day of the workshop.
