Hearing on Demolition of Fitch's Bridge

In accordance with the provisions of the Wetlands Protection Act, MGL Ch. 131, §40, as amended, and the Town of Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 7:45 PM at the Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, 2nd floor meeting room, to consider a Notice of Intent submitted by the Town of Groton for the demolition of the existing Fitch's Bridge, renovation of two existing abutments, improvements to stormwater outfalls, and the installation of a new prefabricated bicycle/pedestrian bridge structure within the 200-ft. Riverfront Area of the Nashua River. The proposed work will take place on Fitch's Bridge Rd. on land owned by the Town of Groton and on Groton Assessors' Parcel 213-66.

  Copies of the NOI are on file in the Commission office in the Town Hall.
