LEGAL NOTICE: Invitation to Bid on Salt Shed

The Town of Groton will accept sealed bids, up to 10:00 a.m. on May 9, 2013, for construction of a salt shed. All materials must meet Mass. Highway Department specifications for Highways and Bridges. Wages paid shall not be less than those prescribed by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development in accordance with Mass. General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 25-27D inclusive.

Specifications will be available at the Town Hall between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm or by email request at highway@townofgroton.org.

SEALED BIDS, clearly marked, will be received in the office of the Town Manager, 173 Main Street, Groton, MA 01450, any time prior to Thursday May 9, 2013 at 10:30 am at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud

The Town of Groton, reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids, and to reject any and all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the town."
