Donations Needed After Fire Destroys Local Woman's Daughters Apartment

On March 9th a fire destoyed the apartment complex in Minneapopolis, MN where Groton resident Dale Martin's daugher Leah(Martin) Berndt and granddaughter Jenifer had just moved in. They escaped unhurt but lost everything including school books and personal items. They will be moving into a new apartment but Dale sadly notes "They have nothing to put into it except herself, her daughter and their two cats". Donations of cash or gift cards can be mailed to: Dale A. Martin, P.O. Box 943, Groton, MA 01450 . Checks should be made out to Dale A. Martin (in memo line write for Jenifer Martin's Fire). The contributions will be forwarded to Jenifer and Leah once they establish a new mailing address.
