LETTER: Naming the Senior Center ‘Sherwin Center’ Makes Sense To Me

I couldn't agree more with your argument for "Sherwin" Center  sign. Makes a lot of sense to me, since I too, know that the Sherwin family was the mainstay of West Groton. They were friends and some of them my neighbors, (next door) .
The old Tarbell school had Babe (Margaret) as principal. My children knew they couldn't get into trouble or I would hear about it.
Unfortunately, I'll bet the sign has already been made. Wish this idea had surfaced earlier to clear confusion.
One more thing----Elea Kemler /The Minister was mistaken about the pies at Groton Fest. It is the Groton Woman's Club responsible for the incredibly wonderful pie making, not the Garden Club.
Third thing! I love having my property backed by conservation land generously given by Dick and Addie Bissell.
