LETTERS: She Has Advanced The District’s Causes

Dear Editor:
I am writing to urge the voters in the First Middlesex District to re-elect Shelia Harrington as our State Representative. Representative Harrington has consistently achieved success in the Legislature. She has advanced the district's causes as well as represented her constituents.
For the past 10 years, Representative Harrington has demonstrated leadership in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. She serves as a ranking member on the Joint Committee on the Judiciary. During the Legislature's debate on statewide Criminal Justice reform, Representative Harrington was appointed to serve on the six-member legislative conference committee to negotiate with the Senate. She has worked to craft Veteran's Services legislation as well as proposed the "Best Interest of the Child" legislation at the Department of Children and Families.
In addition, Representative Harrington's proven experience as our State Representative has delivered the following results for the First Middlesex District:
-Worked to protect our communities' natural resources and helped keep the Kinder Morgan Pipeline out of our district.
-Worked to gain access for the Squannacook Rail Trail from the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.
-Sponsored district job fairs for residents over the past eight years.
-Assisted in the establishment of the new Middlesex North Probate Court.
-Secured financial and strategic resources for our municipalities in the First Middlesex District.
Please vote to re-elect State Representative Sheila Harrington. We have been well-represented on Beacon Hill during her terms in office.
I support her commitment and dedication to the First Middlesex District.

Thank you. Sincerely,
Walter Flewelling
