School Budget Shortfall

Dear Editor:

Regarding the school budget shortfall of $400,000. As we understand it, the school system has its own administrator and accountant. We think this is a duplication of effort on the part of the school system. We think the town accountant should also run the management of the school budget. That way, the left hand knows what the right hand is doing. Also, we thought the school system was spending too much, the economy is still fragile.
