TADS Offers Summer Relief

Dear Editor;

"Summertime, and the livin' is easy," so go the words of that classic song.  For many of us, we appreciate the change of pace that summertime brings us.  But for some people, the change in the rhythm of life can cause problems to emerge - issues that have been simmering, but were kept at bay with a frenetic pace during the school year.

That's the way it was with our son, Jeffrey.  We first became aware of his struggles during the summer after he graduated from high school.  At that point in time, we just did not know where to turn for help.  But now, help Is available for parents in our community when mental health issues emerge with their children.  MSPP INTERFACE is a mental health service that is available Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:00.  You can call and speak with a person who is knowledgeable and comforting, and who will call you back within a couple of days with a referral for a mental health provider who matches your needs and has immediate openings.

  If you are wondering whether your child is struggling with a mental health issue, don't hesitate.  Call this number: 1-888-244-6843   x1411. This service is available in Groton-Dunstable, Ayer-Shirley, Littleton, Harvard, Westford, and Chelmsford.

 Sincerely,

     Steve Boczenowski
