Thanks for Beautiful Day at Country Club, Good Music, Good Company, Good Food & Gifts!
On Wednesday, June 12, 2019 the Groton Police Association in partnership with the Groton Fire Department/EMS and Groton Council on Aging hosted its annual Senior Citizen’s Picnic at the Groton Country Club.
I would like to thank the following people who worked so hard to provide a delicious lunch for over 115 of Groton’s Senior Citizens: Lieutenant Ed Sheridan, Sergeant Derrick Gemos, Sergeant Kevin Henehan, Detective Mike Lynn, Officer Peter Breslin, Officer Bob Breault, Officer Nick Beltz, Officer Omar Connor, Officer Gordie Candow, Officer Greg Steward, Officer Pat Timmins, Officer Andrew Davis, Officer Peter Violette, Officer Casey O’Connor, Dispatchers Leah Pierce and John Weix, Executive Assistant Kathy Newell, Administrative Assistant Joan Tallent, Tryna Walsh, Intern Jackie Stiles, Council on Aging Director Kathy Shelp, Stacey Shepard-Jones, Kathy Santiago, Fire Chief Steele McCurdy, Lt. It was a beautiful day at the Country Club with good music, company, and food. Each senior received a gift courtesy of the following generous businesses and organizations:
