Training Pays Off As 8-Alarm Fire Rips Pepperell Auto Salvage Yard

Groton Fire Chief Steele McCurdy worked closely with Pepperell’s Fire Chief for a coordinated response to the toxic fire. Chief McCurdy explained that the biggest challenge in fighting the fire was the extremely limited water supply at the site.
