Gregoria Rosales Masias Van Hoogen

Gregoria Rosales Masias Van Hoogen age 42 of Groton passed away, Friday, October 4, 2019. She was the wife of David A. Van Hoo- gen.
     Gregoria was born in Aiquile, Bolivia a daughter to Martha Macias Claros and Renato Rosales Veizaga. She was raised and educated in Bolivia and in 2001 moved to the United States and settled in Groton.
     Gregoria worked as the head cashier at Deborah’s Natural Gourmet in West Concord a career she enjoyed and took pride in; she was loved and admired by customers and coworkers alike. Family was most important to Gregoria, she cherished the time with her husband, brothers, sisters and many friends, she also enjoyed traveling, going out to eat, laughing, dancing, Spanish parties and going for walks with her husband.
     Along with her husband, she is survived by her sister Bertha Rosales Masias, brother Emeterio Rosales Masias, sister Aide Rosales Leon, brother Ivan Rosales Leon, sister Bety Rosales Leon, sister Maribel Rosales Leon and nephew Alex Jonathan Salazar Rosales.
     Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Gregoria on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Badger Fu- neral Home, 45 School St., Gro- ton, MA.  Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 19 at 1:00 pm in St. James Church, 13 St. James Ave., Groton, MA. Burial will be private.
     Donations in her memory may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Re- search Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
