Life-long Groton resident Jane Chalmers who passed away December. 16, 2012, was well known throughout town, for her work in the Assessor's Office, as an Election Officer, on the Senior Program, as a volunteer on behalf of her church, and for her presence at the Groton Senior Center. The Chalmers family is requesting that friends wishing to make a donation may do so in Jane's name to Christian Union Church, PO Box 223, West Groton, MA 01472.
