OBITUARY: Julia Pietras, 86

Julia Pietras, 86, of Groton died on June 25, 2016 at Keystone Nursing Home in Leominster. She was born in Lawrence, MA on September 17, 1929 daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Haberski) Pietras. A lifelong resident of Groton, she graduated from Groton High School as Class Valedictorian. She has worked many jobs in the insurance industry in Groton and surround towns.

Julia is survived by her brother John and his wife Georgette Pietras of Groton and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Stephanie Pietras, the late Ann V. Connell and the late Jennie Pietras.

A private graveside service was held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ayer, MA.
