OBITUARY: Kathleen (Jones) Gerlach

 Kathleen (Jones) Gerlach of Nashua, New Hampshire, died August 9th., 2016 at Fairview Nursing Home, Hudson, New Hampshire. Born August 4th, 1922 she is predeceased by her parents Lillian (Sweet) of Cardiff, Wales, John Joseph Jones of Dublin, Ireland, her late husband of 68 years Oscar Gerlach of Rhode Island and daughter Corrine Adamsky of Stow, Mass. Also brothers Joseph Jones of Rhode Island, William Jones of Needham, Mass. and sister Eilleen Simmons of Groton, Mass.

 Kathleen was an avid collector and dealer of small antiques and collectables and loved flea markets, auctions and yard sales.  She also loved family gatherings to celebrate birthdays, holidays or a family gathering for no reason at all.

 During her residence at Fairview Nursing Home....Kathleen was president of the Fairview Residents Council. If a fellow resident had a concern or question, they knew that if they talked to Kathleen she would do all she could to address their concerns. She was an active participant in activities held at Fairview to benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank and always at the ready to help fellow residents of Fairview and to share her wit and humor with all.

 Survivors include her 4 daughters Kathleen (Edward J.) Razzaboni of Pepperell, Mass, Candice Casey of Daytona, Florida, Lillian (Edward A.) Syrjala of Nashua, New Hampshire and Cynthia (Michael D.) Mahony, of Spruce Creek, Florida. Two sons Michael F. (Anita) Gerlach of Manchester, New Hampshire and Mathew (Teresa (Terri)) Gerlach of Hollis, New Hampshire. Also
 Thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.  Sister Patricia Porter of Nashua, New Hampshire and brother Stephen Jones of Lakeland, Florida plus many nieces and nephews.

 Visiting Hours will be held at Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St., Groton, Mass. on Monday August 15, 2016 from 6-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at Badger Funeral Home on Tuesday August 16, 2016 at 10 am followed by burial at Groton Cemetery, 242 Hollis St., Groton
