Obituary: M. Priscilla Lamy

   M. Priscilla Lamy, a lifelong resident of Groton, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Emerson Hospital.
Priscilla is survived by her husband of 57 years, Andrew.  She was most proud of the work she did for the Town of Groton as an Emergency Medical Technician, CPR Instructor, Middlesex County rape investigator, longtime dispatcher, and finally her years as Secretary to the Chief of Police.  She loved her jobs and did them with ease and compassion.
After retiring, she enjoyed several trips to different Caribbean Islands with her husband and close friends, Aruba being her favorite.  Priscilla loved and enjoyed her family, friends, music, all of her pets of which she had many, and just a good time.  She especially enjoyed her Thursday nights out with her friends at the Franco in Westford.
Priscilla is also survived by her children Barbara Marr and her fiancé Robbie Begin of Boothbay Harbor, ME, Daniel Lamy and his wife Elsie of Groton, MA, Michael Lamy and his wife Tina of Wolfeboro, NH, and Donna Carpenter and her husband Howard of Wilton, NH and was predeceased by her daughter Bonnie Lamy Larose also of Groton, MA.  She leaves two sisters, Theresa Rago Crow of Groton, MA and Florence Green of Casselberry, FL.  She was predeceased by her brother, William Dupuis of Amherst, NH.  Priscilla also had many nieces and nephews and leaves 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.
