Pamela S. (Nesi) Campolieto

Pamela S. (Nesi) Campolieto, 72, died peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Robert Campolieto with whom she recently celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 8.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on November 20, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Romeo and Stephanie Nesi. Pamela attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, and then went on to earn her Masters Degree in Education from Fitchburg State University.

Pamela was a fifth grade teacher at Varnum Brook Middle School in Pepperell for 28 years. Upon retirement, she spent time volunteering at The Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis and Second Glance Thrift Boutique in West Harwich.

Pamela was an avid reader and participant in a local book club. She had a passion for traveling around the world, particularly to Italy. Pamela loved to dance with her husband Robert. They were often the first ones to be found on the dance floor, encouraging others to join in. Above all, family was most important to Pamela and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by their two children, Valerie Templeton and her husband John; and Paul Campolieto and his wife Michele; two grandsons, Jack and Michael Templeton; and a sister, Stephanie Nesi; as well as many nieces and nephews.

At Pamela’s request, services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or at www.pancan.org. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.doanebealames.com
