PB Hearing on Squannacook Multi-Family Conversion

Special Permit – Section 218-27 Planned

Multifamily/Residential Development

   In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall to consider the application submitted by Walter H.B. Platt and Christopher Brown (Squannacook Hall, LLC) for renewal of an expired Special Permit to utilize the provisions of Groton Zoning Bylaw Section 218-27 Planned Multifamily/Residential Development.  The existing structure known as Squannacook Hall in West Groton will be renovated and converted to a multi-family residential building.  The project is located at 33 West Main Street (Assessors’ Parcel 101-22).  Project details are shown on the plans entitled, “Squannacook Hall, West Groton, MA 01450” prepared for Squannacook Hall LLC, dated April 11, 2017.

   Copies of the application and plan are on file in the Planning Board office and the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting the Planning Board at (978) 448-1105 at least one week prior to the hearing.
