Bethany DeWitt Weds Tanner French
Bethany Frances DeWitt, daughter of Raymond and Karen DeWitt of Groton and Tanner Lee French, son of Steve and Laurie French of Modesto, CA were married September 22, 2018 in Cuvier Park, La Jolla, California. The matron of honor was Vanessa Rydberg DeWitt, sister-in-law of the bride; and bridesmaids were Nicole DeWitt, niece of the bride; and friends Jenny Beltran, Amber Pybrum, Kerianne McGovern, and Natalie Stephens. The groom’s niece Ava French was the flower girl. The best man was close friend Garrett Stephens and groomsmen were Jaylen French, brother of the groom; Benjamin DeWitt, brother of the bride; Athan French, nephew of the groom; and friends Tovin McGovern, and Garrett Changnon. The bride’s nephew Maximilian DeWitt was the ring bearer. Joshua DeWitt, brother of the bride, officiated the ceremony. A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the La Jolla Women’s Club.
Bethany is a 2002 graduate of Groton Dunstable Regional High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego and a master’s in architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture + Design. She is employed as an architect at BakerNowicki design studio. Tanner is a 2001 graduate of Beyer High School. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering both from San Diego State University. He is employed by the city of San Diego as a Senior Traffic Engineer.
The couple presently resides in San Diego, CA.
