College Degrees and Honors
Groton and Dunstable residents have earned college degrees and honors this semester.
WESTERN NEW ENGLAND UNIVERSITY Western New England Uni-versity congratulates over 600 students who received their academic degrees. Sydney H. McGillivray, of Groton (01450), graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from West- ern New England University dur- ing the May 18 commencement ceremonies. Celebrating its Centennial in the year 2019, Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational in-stitution. Located on an attrac- tive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, Western New England serves 3,974 students, including 2,629 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and the School of Law.
WORCESTER ACADEMY Hunter O'Toole of Groton, grade 10, has received First Honors for semester 2 of the 2018-2019 school year at Worcester Academy.
MCPHS UNIVERSITY Michelle Ricotta, a native of Dunstable, has been named to the MCPHS University Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and will graduate in 2019 from the Manchester, NH campus. Kimberly Contonio, a native of Groton, has been named to the MCPHS University Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester. She is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy. Kimberly will graduate in 2021 from the Worcester, MA campus.
