COA Update

With the Governor’s declaration this week, Groton COA will institute the following:
     1. Meals on Wheels will be delivered however; all volunteers are asked to shelter in place. Since staff will be at work to accept and process the meals, we will deliver. We want to keep as many people at home as possible.
     2. When staff is not in the building, we will still be accessible by phone. All phone calls will be forwarded to Kathy Shelp’s cell phone. Please call with ANYTHING you need.
     3. The van will continue to transport to the grocery store. Riders will be limited to one trip a week and no more than three riders may be on the van at any time. The van will be disinfected when riders embark and disembark. You will also be asked to use hand sanitizer getting on and getting off the van.
     4. If a senior resident needs grocery’s and chooses to shelter in place, please call - we will shop for you!
We will continue to call our residents and just check in!
Please, please don’t hesitate to call us!
