Turkey Raffle and Prize Night

Groton’s Lawrence W. Gay Post 55 American Legion will be hosting its 21st consecutive year Turkey Raffle and Prize Night this Friday, November 22 from 7:30-10 p.m. at the Franco-American Club, 55 West Prescott Street, Westford. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the first spin of the prize wheel will be at 7:30.

Thanksgiving Service for All Ages, First Parish Church of Groton

Please join us on Sunday, November 24 at 10 a.m. for a Thanksgiving Service for All Ages. We will share bread and gratitude. There will be beautiful music and singing and an opportunity to take some tags from the Giving Tree to purchase gifts for families in need living in local shelters. Begin the holiday season with gratitude and by helping others. Children are welcome.

Holiday Craft & Greens Fair

The 18th Annual Holiday Craft & Greens Fair will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Townsend Congregational Church, UCC, 3 Brookline St., Townsend. Get an early start on holiday shopping with two floors of unique handmade crafts, holiday greens, raffle baskets, bistro, kids play area, and more.

Work off Thanksgiving Dinner with the Annual Ayer/Groton Hills Walk

Get far away from shopping malls on Black Friday and join the longest continually running hike in the AMC. We'll explore the natural areas between the Nashua River and the Snake Hills. Exact route determined on the fly. Some bushwhacking possible. Around 7 mi, 5 hours. Bring warm clothes and lunch. Meet in in NW corner of the parking lot behind Nashoba Hospital on Groton Road in Ayer (42.57878N 71.57399W).
