Clover Farm Store re-opens as Modern Home Etc.

Bringing back classic and mid-century modern furniture and home decor! The old Clover Farms store will re open as Modern Home Etc. This fun and creative shop has so many unique finds from famous makers such as Broyhill, Kent Coffey and Dansk, Drexel and Lane furniture. We have something for everyone. We have a focus on American-made items that have a lasting quality. We also carry vintage style bar/ glass and dish ware.

Ayer Cultural Council to Present "Faces of Veterans" Exhibit and Reception

On January 10, 2020 the Ayer Cultural Council brings the photographic exhibit “Faces of Veterans,” featuring images and narratives of some of our local heroes to Ayer’s Great Hall from 6 to 9:30 p m - one night only. The Great Hall at Town Hall, One Main Street, is accessible to individuals with handicaps. All are welcome.

Charles Dickens, "A Christmas Carol"

The Shirley Meeting House (41 Brown Road) welcomes back actor Mark Jeffreys for an encore performance of his one-man enactment of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Saturday, December 14, 7 p.m. From Scrooge to Tiny Tim, Mark will bring 18 characters to life before your eyes in this classic holiday tale of humanity and redemption. Admission: $15.

Healing Conversations Grief Group at First Parish Church of Groton

Healing Conversations is a small group specifically for those who are moving through grief of the death of someone they love. The group meets six Thursday nights starting January 9– Feb. 13, 7-9 p.m. to share stories and experiences, to learn about the grief process and to talk about what it means to move toward healing. Some of the questions to explore are:
