Bigelow Library hosting "Votes for Women!"

The Bigelow Free Public Library, 54 Walnut St., Clinton will host Tona Hangen, associate history professor from Worcester State University, to present “Votes for Women! an historical perspective,” on Wednesday, February 19 at 6:30. (Snow date February 26). This one-hour program will present the Women’s Suffrage movement in context with other historical events.

Donald Allen Dent

Donald Allen Dent, 85, of West Groton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was husband of the late Eleanor Dent.

George H. Siener

George H. Siener, 94, of Groton, died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Brighton and was a resident of Groton since 1968.
     Mr. Siener was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, January 18, 1926, the youngest of four children born to John P. and Nell (Hoch) Siener and grew up in Spartanburg.

Joyce (Traquair) Jekanoski

Joyce (Traquair) Jekanoski, 78 of Pepperell, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 1, 2020. She was the wife to Stanley C. Jekanoski, Jr.
     Joy was born on April 1, 1941, coincidentally on the same Fitchburg Hill on which she passed into Heaven. Joy was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Hoffman) Traquair.
