   Under the authority granted under Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 111, Section 31, the Groton Board of Health will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 6:30PM in the 1st Floor Meeting Room at the Groton Town Hall to consider the application for the following variances from the Local Well Regulations submitted by Dillis & Roy Civil Design Group on behalf of Ami Howes:

Multi-Family Overlay District

In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, §§ 5 and 11, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider proposed amendments to the Groton Zoning Bylaw, Chapter 218. The purpose of the proposed zoning amendments is to create a Multi-Family Development Overlay District that complies with the requirements of the MBTA Communities Act.

Copies of the proposed zoning amendments and overlay district map are on file in the Planning Board office and the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting the ADA Coordinator at (978) 448-1105 at least one week prior to the hearing.

   Pursuant to Section 7.6 of the Groton Charter, the Charter Review Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Second Floor Meeting Room, Groton, MA.  This hearing is being held to present the Public with the findings/recommendations of the Charter Review Committee prior to presenting its Final Report to the 2025 Spring Town Meeting to be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Groton Dunstable Regional High School, 703 Chicopee Row, Groton, MA. The Committee will accept feedback and comments from members of the public.  

   All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
