   In accordance with the provisions of the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 198, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6:30 PM in Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider the application submitted by Edward and Penny Thomas for approval of a Full Stormwater Management for construction of a new single-family home, 12-foot-wide driveway, sewage disposal system and stormwater management system, as shown on the plan entitled, “Proposed Site Plan, 70 Dale Lane, Groton, Massachusetts,” dated  December 4, 2025, prepared by Dillis and Roy, for property owned by Edward and Penny Thomas, Assessors Map 221, Parcels 14.1, 70 Dale Lane.

Earth Removal Stormwater Management Committee Regulations

   In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 352 of the Code of Groton, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall to consider a proposed amendment to Chapter 352 of the Code of the Town of Groton, Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee Regulations, as follows:

   By deleting “Section 352-3 Filing Fees, B. Full Stormwater Management Permit,” and replacing it with:

B. Full stormwater management permit. The filing fee for administration (public hearing notice, mailings, peer review, construction inspections, etc.) of a full stormwater management permit is $5000, unless adjusted by the Committee.  The check should be made payable to the Town of Groton. This fee is deposited into a revolving fund established for this purpose.

   Copies of the proposed amendments to the regulations are on file in the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting ADA Coordinator Michelle Collette at (978) 448-1105 at least one week prior to the hearing.

Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the Groton Town Hall, to consider the Major Site Plan Review application submitted by Aline Gomes de Morais for a change of use at 14 Town Line Road (Assessors’ Parcel 203-34).  The proposed use is auto sales (pre-owned vehicles).  The dealership will feature approximately 20 pre-owned vehicles at any given time on the existing premises.
