Planning Board Public Hearing Notice

Special Permit & Site Plan Review for Marijuana Retail Establishment

   In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 7:15 PM to consider the application submitted by New England Craft Cultivators, LLC.  The application is for a Special Permit under the provisions of Groton Zoning By-law Section 218-10.4 Marijuana Establishments and for Site Plan Review to operate an adult-use recreational marijuana retail establishment.  The proposed marijuana retail establishment will occupy the first floor of the existing commercial building located at 1 Forge Village Road (Assessors’ Parcel 133-11) as shown on the plans and architectural drawings provided with the application.

Groton-Dunstable Regional School Committee

FY 2024 Budget Public Hearing

   The Groton-Dunstable Regional School District School Committee will conduct a Public Hearing on the Preliminary FY 2024 Budget at the Middle School South Performing Arts Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. After the presentation, the public will have an opportunity to comment. Copies of the preliminary budget will be available for review on the district website by Monday, February 6, 2023.

Hayes Woods Definitive Subdivision

   In accordance with the provisions of the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 198, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 7:30 PM in person at the Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider the application submitted by Robert Kiley, Trustee, Maple Avenue Realty Trust, for approval of a Full Stormwater Management Permit for construction of a nine-lot subdivision  as shown on the plan entitled, “Definitive Subdivision & Flexible Development Plan, Groton MA, Hayes Woods,” prepared by Dillis & Roy, dated January 6, 2023. The proposed subdivision is located on Assessors Map 104, Parcel, on the easterly side of Pepperell Road.

   The Groton Electric Light Department is requesting bids for one (1) 15kV S&C VISTA SC Padmount Switchgear.

   Bids will be received until 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the offices of the Light Department, 23 Station Avenue, Groton, MA  01450 at which time bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.

   Bids must be received in triplicate in a sealed, opaque envelope marked “BID FOR 15 kV PADMOUNTED SWITCHGEAR, BID NO. 905100-01”

   The contract documents can be examined and obtained at the offices of the Groton Electric Light Department or received via email by calling 978-448-1150 or emailing Tammi Lemire at tlemire@grotonelectric.org.

   All bids must be made on the Bid Form provided in the specifications; Groton Electric specifically reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any irregularities or informalities, or to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Groton Electric Light Department.

   Three (3) copies of each Bid shall be submitted.
