and to all persons entitled to the benefit of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, 50 U.S.C. c. 50 §3901 (et seq)

Flagstar Bank, F.S.B. claiming to have an interest in a Mortgage covering real property in Groton, numbered 198 Lost Lake Drive, given by Mark A. Piche to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for Ross Mortgage Company Inc., dated September 28, 2018, and recorded in Middlesex County (Southern District) Registry of Deeds in Book 71694, Page 446, and now held by Plaintiff by assignment, has filed with this court a complaint for determination of Defendant’s Servicemembers status.

   If you now are, or recently have been, in the active military service of the United States of America, then you may be entitled to the benefits of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. If you object to a foreclosure of the above-mentioned property on that basis, then you or your attorney must file a written appearance and answer in this court at Three Pemberton Square, Boston, MA 02108 on or before 10/24/2022 or you may lose the opportunity to challenge the foreclosure on the ground of noncompliance with the Act.

Public Hearing Notice

Special Permit for Marijuana Retail Establishment

   In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 7:00 PM to consider the application submitted by UC Retail, LLC under the provisions of Groton Zoning By-law Section 218-10.4 Marijuana Establishments.  The application is for a Special Permit to operate an adult-use recreational marijuana retail establishment to be located at 489 Main Street, Unit A, in Mill Run Plaza (Assessors’ Parcel 216-1.5).  The proposed marijuana retail establishment will occupy 2,188 square feet of space and will require changes to the exterior of the building, as shown on the site plan and architectural drawings provided with the application.  The project site is located at 489 Main Street, Unit A (Assessors’ Parcel 216-1.5).
