TOWN MEETING

   The Groton Select Board have called for a Special Town Meeting to held on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 7:00 P.M., Groton Dunstable Middle School Center for the Arts, 344 Main Street, Groton, MA. The purpose of this Special Town Meeting will be to vote on articles contained in the September 12, 2022 Special Town Meeting Warrant being mailed to all residents on August 26, 2022. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Conservation Commission

Public Hearing

   In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 6:45 p.m. to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filed by Brigid Killian for the removal of two trees and minor site work at 24 Hoyts Wharf Road (Groton Assessor’s Parcel 248-37).    In accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40C, the Groton Historic Districts Commission (GHDC) will hold a virtual Public Hearing via Zoom on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 7:30 pm. This meeting will be held to consider the application submitted by the Groton Historical Commission, seeking a Certificate of Appropriateness for 172 Main Street, Assessors Map 113-3, to relocate the Prescott Stone on the grounds of the Groton History Center.  Copies of the application and supporting materials are available for review by contacting the GHDC via the Land Use Dept, 2^nd floor of the Town Hall.

PUBLIC HEARING

   Pursuant to Section 154-5 of the Bylaws of the Town of Groton (Stormwater Utility), the Groton Select Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 7:15 P.M. at the Groton Town Hall, Second Floor Meeting Room, 173 Main Street, Groton, MA. The purpose of the Hearing will be to receive input so the Select Board may set the Stormwater Utility User Fee sufficient to meet the costs incurred by the Stormwater Facilities Utility for Fiscal Year 2023.  

   All interested parties are invited to attend.
