Public Meeting

   In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 7:25 p.m. to consider a Notice of Intent filed by the Groton School Trustees for the construction of a multipurpose sports turf field and baseball diamond at 282 Farmers Row (Groton Assessor’s Parcel 219-09). Legal Notice

Sealed bids are requested by the Town Manager for replacement of concrete pool deck and related preparation work at the Groton Country Club, 94 Lovers Lane, Groton, MA.  Specifications may be obtained Electronically by email request to highway@grotonma.gov or by calling 978-448-1162.

Bids will be received electronically, until 10:00 a.m. February 2, 2023.

NOTICE OF MORTGAGEE'S SALE OF REAL ESTATE PRIVATE

Premises: 112 School House Road, Groton, Massachusetts

By virtue and in execution of the Power of Sale contained in a certain mortgage given by Fay E. Mclean to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for Consolidated Mortgage Services, Inc., said mortgage dated March 24, 2006, and recorded in the Middlesex County (Southern) Registry of Deeds, in Book 47217 at Page 372 and now held by Santander Bank, N.A. by virtue of an assignment from Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as mortgagee, as nominee for Consolidated Mortgage Services, Inc., its successors and assigns to Santander Bank, N.A. dated October 17, 2013 and recorded in Middlesex County (Southern District) Registry of Deeds in Book 62892, Page 480 for breach of the conditions in said mortgage and for the purpose of foreclosing the same, will be sold at Public Auction on February 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM Local Time upon the premises, all and singular the premises described in said mortgage, to wit:

Thence running in a westerly direction 120 feet to an iron pipe at the corner of land of Lester Carkin and land of grantee;

Thence running in a northerly direction by land of grantee to the point of beginning.

Being the same premises conveyed to Donald T. McLean and Fay E. McLean by deed dated January 6, 1983 and recorded in Book 14906, Page 108. Donald T. McLean now deceased. See death certificate recorded at Book 32530, Page 345.

   The description of the property that appears in the mortgage to be foreclosed shall control in the event of a typographical error in this publication.
