   In accordance with Chapter 30B, Section 15 of the Massachusetts General Laws, notice is hereby given that the Town of Groton will hold a public auction of surplus vehicles and miscellaneous items on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Groton Town Hall, Second Floor Meeting Room, 173 Main Street, Groton, MA 01450.  The vehicles and miscellaneous items to be auctioned include a 2017 Ford Explorer, a 2007 Eldor E350 Bus, 1 Lot of 12 CF-31 Panasonic Toughbooks, 1 Lot of 7 CF-30 Panasonic Toughbooks, 1 Lot of 2 CR-19 Panasonic Toughbooks, (2) 2009 Chevrolet 3500 HD, and 24 Pieces of 8” of McWane ductile iron water pipe. A complete list with additional details can be obtained by emailing townmanager@grotonma.gov.  Terms of sale: The vehicles and miscellaneous items are to be sold as is without warranty expressed or implied and may have minimum bid prices set.  The Town of Groton reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town.  Every bid must be accompanied by a signed non-collusion form.

    In accordance with the provisions of the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 198, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider the application submitted by Routhier & Roper Gratuity Road, LLC, for approval of a Full Stormwater Management to construct a 28-unit development (14 duplexes) for people 55 years old and older.  The proposed construction is located on Assessors Map 216, Parcel 47, 63 Gratuity Road.

   Copies of the application and plan are on file in the Land Use Department in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting the Planning Board at (978) 448-1105 at least ten days prior to the hearing.

This meeting will be held to consider the application submitted by Daniel Moore, seeking a Certificate of Appropriateness for 108 Pleasant Street, Assessors Map 109-43 to replace the 5 windows on the south side of the barn with 2 garage doors, with the color to match the current green shutters.
