CM RFQ - INVITATION TO PROVIDE CM at RISK SERVICES
FLORENCE ROCHE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - GROTON, MA
Firms interested in providing Public Construction Manager at Risk Services (“CM” or “CM at Risk”) for the Florence Roche Elementary School in Groton, Massachusetts (“Project”) are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) to the Florence Roche Elementary School Building Committee (“FRSBC”). This CM at Risk services procurement is conducted pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149A. This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Chapter 149A. The Florence Roche School Building Committee (“FRSBC”), acting on behalf of the Town of Groton & the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District (“Awarding Authority”) through the CM Prequalification & Selcetion Committee is prequalifying firms interested in providing CM at Risk services for the project through this RFQ process. The FRSBC has established a CM Prequalification & Selction sub-committee which will evaluate submitted SOQs based upon the identified evaluation criteria and will determine if the respondents are deemed qualified to participate in the subsequent RFP phase. Only those respondents deemed qualified will be invited to submit a Proposal in response to a detailed Request for Proposals (“RFP”) which will be issued in the second phase of the procurement process. The FRSBC expects the RFP may be available by late April of 2021. The project delivery method for construction will be public CM at Risk with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (“GMP”) in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149A.
     The RFQ will be available on March 31, 2021 through the Owner’s Project Manager, Leftfield, LLC., c/o Ms. Eileena Long, elong@left-fieldpm.com. Acting on behalf of the FRSBC, and the Pre-Qualifica- tion Subcommittee, Ms. Eileena Long, will be the contact person for this RFQ. Upon receipt of the RFQ, firms interested in the submitting their Statement of Qualifications must submit an RFQ Interest Form via email to Ms. Eileena Long @ elong@leftfieldpm.com This form is contained within the RFQ.

1. Amend Section 218-9.4 At- tached Accessory Apartment
by deleting the word “Attached” so it reads as follows: “Section 218-9.4 Accessory Apartment”.
Amend Section 218-5.2 Schedule of Use Regulations, Line 103, to reflect the addition of Attached Accessory Apartments and Detached Accessory Apartments as separate use categories, as adopted by the 2020 Fall Town Meeting voters.
