Site Plan Review – MBTA Communities

Multi-Family Development

500 Main Street

   In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the Groton Town Hall, to consider the Major Site Plan Review application submitted by Transom GP Capital Holdings I, LLC, for construction of a multi-family residential development at 500 Main Street (Assessors’ Map 216; Parcels 95 & 96). The proposed development consists of two hundred (200) rental units of which one hundred and seventy-six (176) units will be contained in two multi-story multi-family apartment buildings and twenty-four (24) units contained in six (6) quadplex townhouses, with associated amenities and site improvements. The project is shown on the site plans prepared by Dillis & Roy Civil Design Group entitled, “Site Plan Approval, MBTA Community, Fox Howe Groton,” dated August 20, 2025.

   Copies of the application are on file in the Town Hall in the offices of the Planning Board and the Town Clerk. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability. A signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting the Planning Board at (978) 448-1105 at least ten days prior to the hearing.

TOWN OF GROTON

PUBLIC HEARING

The Select Board has scheduled a public hearing for Monday, September 15, 2025 at 6:45 P.M., Groton Town Hall, Select Board’s Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, 173 Main Street, Groton, MA.  The purpose of this hearing will be to discuss laying out Bluebird Lane, as a public way as contained in the October 18, 2025 Fall Town Meeting Warrant. Copies of the plans are on file in the Land Use Department at the Groton Town Hall.

   Pursuant to Section 7.6 of the Groton Charter, the Charter Review Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Second Floor Meeting Room, Groton, MA.  This hearing is being held to present the Public with the findings/recommendations of the Charter Review Committee prior to presenting its Final Report to the 2025 Fall Town Meeting to be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Marion Stoddart Building, 344 Main Street, Groton, MA.  The Committee will accept feedback and comments from members of the public.

   In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M.G.L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the Town Hall, to consider the application submitted by Nashoba Homes Development, LLC, for approval of a Definitive Subdivision Plan and Special Permit under the provisions of Groton Zoning Bylaw, Section 218-9.1, Flexible Development.  The proposed subdivision would create six (6) single-family house lots on a cul-de-sac road, as shown on the plans entitled, “Definitive Subdivision & Flexible Development Plan, Groton, MA, Casella Meadows”, prepared by Dillis & Roy Civil Design Group, dated June 3, 2025.  The project is located on Wyman Road (Assessors’ Map 229, Parcel 58).

   Copies of the application and plan are on file in the Planning Board office and the Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall.
