In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L Ch. 131, Sec. 40 and the Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 6:40 p.m. in the Groton Town Hall, 2nd floor meeting room to consider a Notice of Intent (NOI) filed by Bryan Gannon for the reconstruction of a single-family dwelling at 37 Boathouse Road (Groton Assessor’s Parcel 129-191,192, 221,222).

Planning Board – Public Hearing Notice
Proposed Zoning Bylaw Cleanup and Clarification
In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, §§ 5 and 11, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 7:00 PM, to consider proposed amendments to the Groton Zoning Bylaw, Chapter 218. The proposed amendments will correct an internal inconsistency in Section 218-9.3 Multifamily Use, and will update the definitions of Dwelling and Dwelling Unit in Section 218-3 Definitions.

Proposed Zoning Amendments
for Marijuana Retail Establishments
In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, §§ 5 and 11, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider zoning amendments proposed by the Select Board to allow the retail sale of marijuana in the Town of Groton. The proposed amendments would expand the list of marijuana establishments that may be allowed by special permit in the General Business and/or Industrial zoning districts to include the following: product manufacturer, retailer, transportation or distribution facility, and any other type of licensed marijuana related business.
