Public Hearing Notice
Stormwater Management Permit
In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 198 of the Code of Groton, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 6PM in the Town Hall to consider the application for a Full Stormwater Management Permit submitted by the Town of Groton Water Department to construct a new water treatment plant as shown on the plan entitled, “Whitney Pond Wells Water Treatment,” prepared by Environmental Partners, dated August 2021. The proposed water treatment plant is located on land on by the Town of Groton, Assessors’ Map 104, Parcel 30, and Map 250, Parcel 96, on the southerly side of Lowell Road.
     Copies of the application and plans are on file in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability. Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by con- tacting ADA Coordinator Michelle Collette at (978) 448-1105 at least one week prior to the hearing.

Planning Board – Public Hearing Notice

Site Plan Review
In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall to consider the application submitted by the Town of Groton Water Department under the provisions of Groton Zoning By-law Section 218-2.5 Site Plan Review for the proposed Whitney Pond Wells Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and related site improvements. The proposed project is shown on the plans entitled, “Whitney Pond Wells Water Treatment Plant, Town of Groton, Massachusetts”, prepared by Environmental Partners and dated August 16, 2021. The WTP site is located on the Water Department’s property at 864 Lowell Road (Assessors Map 250, Parcel 96).
     Copies of the application and plans are on file in the Planning Board office and the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability. Board of Health Vacancy
As required by M.G.L. Chapter 41, Sections 10 and 11, there exists a vacancy on the Town of Groton Board of Health. All interested individuals shall complete an online Committee Interest Form by 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Committee Interest Forms can be found online at https:// www.grotonma.gov/government /boards-and-committees/committee-interest-form/.
     The appointment to fill said vacancy shall be in a joint session with the Select Board and the remaining Board of Health Members at a Select Board Meeting on Monday, September 20, 2021. This appointment to the Board of Health will be effective through the May 2022 Annual Town Election. The chosen candidate would need to run for the remainder of the unexpired term which would run through the May 2023 Town Election.

The Groton Electric Light Department is accepting proposals for the purchase of the parcel of land to be declared surplus on Sandy Pond Road, Parcel ID 119-10-0. This parcel is approx. 11.93 acres. To obtain a copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) contact Tammi Lemire via email at tlemire@grotonelectric.org or call 978-448-1150. A site walk is scheduled for Thursday, September 9 at 10:00 AM or contact Kevin Kelly to make arrangements to view the property.

Suzanne Cody, Plaintiff v Michael Cody, Defendant
1. Plaintiff, who resides at 7 Tucker Street, Unit 6, Pepperell, Middlesex County, MA 01463 was lawfully married to defendant who resides at UNKNOWN.
2. The parties were married at Lowell, Middlesex County, MA on November 6, 2015 and live together in Groton, Middlesex County, MA on March of 2020.
3. The minor or dependent child(ren) of this marriage is none.
4.Plaintiff certifies that no previous action for divorce, annulment or affirmation of marriage, separate support, desertion. Living apart for justifiable cause, or custody of child(ren) has been brought by either party against the other.
5. On or about March 2020 an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage under G.L.c. 208 § 1 B occurred and continues to exist.
6.Wherefor, plaintiff requests that the Court: grant a divorce for irretrievable breakdown of the marriage, prohibit defendant from imposing any restraint on plaintiff ’s personal liberty, allow plaintiff to resume former name of Suzanne Lee Bubeck, order an equitable division of the marital assets and debt pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 208 Section 34, all such other relief as the Court deems meet and just.

Defendant cannot be found within the Commonwealth and his/her present whereabouts are unknown. Personal service on defendant is therefore not practicable, and defendant has not voluntarily appeared in this action.
