For Lost Lake/Knops Pond Herbicide Treatment of Weeds
The Town of Groton, Massachusetts invites qualified vendors to submit proposals to provide herbicide treatment of weeds at Lost Lake/Knops Pond. All vendors must submit in conformance with the Request for Proposals documents which will be available by emailing townmanager@, beginning on January 13, 2021. This RFP shall be governed by the requirements of MGL Chapter 30B, the Uniform Procurement Act. The Groton Community Preservation Committee (CPC) will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 7:00 PM virtually through Zoom to receive public comments on newly submitted Community Preservation Act proposals. The CPC is seeking input from the public before making its decision on which of the proposals (if any) to recommend to Town
Meeting for funding. A positive recommendation by the CPC will send a proposal to the 2021 Annual Spring Town Meeting where voters will decide whether or not to fund the project from the Town’s Community Preservation Fund.

In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 198 of the Code of Groton, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Commit- tee will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 7:00 PM to consider the application for a Full Stormwater Management Permit submitted by Shepley Hill Capital Partners, LLC, to construct the proposed subdivision as shown on the plan entitled, “The Village at Shepley Hill,” prepared by Meridian Associates, dated November 23, 2020. The proposed subdivision is located on land on by H & G Realty Trust, Assessors’ Map 226 Parcel 2, on the westerly side of Longley Road and southerly side of Sand Hill Road.
