Groton School Field Improvements

   In accordance with the provisions of the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 198, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 7:00 PM in person at Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider the application submitted by Groton School for approval of a Full Stormwater Management for field improvements as shown on the plan entitled, “Notice of Intent & Earth Removal Stormwater Permit, Track & Field Improvements,” prepared by Dillis & Roy, dated January 6, 2023.  The property, owned by Groton School, is located on Assessors Map 219, Parcel 9, 282 Farmers Row.

   Copies of the application and plan are on file in the Land Use Department in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting the Planning Board at (978) 448-1105 at least ten days prior to the hearing.

BID NO. 905100-01

   The Groton Electric Light Department is requesting bids for one (1) 15kV S&C VISTA SC Padmount Switchgear.

   Bids will be received until 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the offices of the Light Department, 23 Station Avenue, Groton, MA  01450 at which time bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.

   Bids must be received in triplicate in a sealed, opaque envelope marked “BID FOR 15 kV PADMOUNTED SWITCHGEAR, BID NO. 905100-01”

   The contract documents can be examined and obtained at the offices of the Groton Electric Light Department or received via email by calling 978-448-1150 or emailing Tammi Lemire at tlemire@grotonelectric.org.

   All bids must be made on the Bid Form provided in the specifications; Groton Electric specifically reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any irregularities or informalities, or to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Groton Electric Light Department.

   Three (3) copies of each Bid shall be submitted.

   The Groton Electric Light Department is requesting bids for three (3) 15kV Type VWE Reclosers with SEL 651R Controls and four (4) additional SEL 651R Controls.

   Bids will be received until 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the offices of the Light Department, 23 Station Avenue, Groton, MA  01450 at which time bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.

   Bids must be received in triplicate in a sealed, opaque envelope marked “BID FOR 15 kV RECLOSERS AND CONTROLS, BID NO. 905100-02”

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

   Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 54, Section 25B (a)(1), the Groton Select Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 7:15pm in the Second Floor Meeting Room, Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, Groton, to consider opting out of vote by mail for the Municipal Town Election scheduled for Tuesday, May 23, 2023. 

   All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
