Astronaut at the Groton Library!
Haven't you always wanted to meet an Astronaut? Join us Wednesday, March 30, when former NASA Astronaut Michael Foreman visits Groton Public Library! Captain Foreman has flown on two space shuttle missions: STS-123 on Endeavor in 2008 and STS-129 on Atlantis in 2009. Learn about Captain Foreman's space missions and what it was like to live, work, and walk in space!
Two Events:
6:30-7 pm, "Blast-off Storytime with Astronaut Michael Foreman!" Meet an astronaut and enjoy out-of-this-world stories! For children PreK-Grade 4.
7:30-8:30 pm, "What's it like to be an Astronaut and work for NASA?" Captain Foreman will discuss this and other space-related topics! For adults, teens, and older children (grade 5 and up).
