Discover the path to a healthy brain through current nutrition and exercise science, music and its effects on the brain and the power of mindfulness and meditation. The Groton Council on Aging presents “Brains Matter” a three week program in support of brain health. Join the COA April 4-25, your choice at Groton Senior Center Monday mornings or Groton Public Library Thursday evenings: Music Improves the Brain with Indian Hills Music, Monday April 4, 9:30 or April 14, 6:30 pm. Nutrition for Memory Preservation with the Brain Health and Wellness Center, April 11, 9:30am or Thursday, April 7 6:30pm, Meditation Strengthens the Mind with Barbara Rich, Monday, April 25, 9:30am or Thursday, April 21, 6:30pm. Maintaining your brain health is just as important as your heart and joint health.
