A Roundtable Discussion on Mental Health in Groton-Dunstable

More and more the issue of mental health is entering the public discourse. But what does this have to do with the Groton-Dunstable community?

You may be interested to know that one in four people in America experiences mental illness in a given year, and half of them do not receive treatment for their illness. It has been estimated that the economic burden of serious mental illness to the United States is $317 billion each year, equivalent to more than $1,000/year for every man, woman, and child in the United States. Mental illness is a public health problem that is making a significant impact to our economy and our culture.

But what is the impact on Groton-Dunstable?

On Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Black Box Theater Steve Boczenowski, the President & Founder of Teenage Anxiety and Depression Solutions (TADS), and an esteemed panel of 18 people on the front lines of mental health in our community will engage in A Roundtable Discussion on Mental Health in Groton-Dunstable. The goal of this discussion will be to determine the state of mental health in our community.
