Lorna (Howell) Picorelli-Smith, a/k/a wife, mother, grandmother, Gigi, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home in Leominster. She is survived by her husband William Smith; her daughters, Lori Longley and Catherine Flynn; her son Joseph and his wife Jennifer Picorelli; her granddaughters, Laura Snell, Ashley Longley, Piper and Phaydan Picorelli; and grandson, Paxton Picorelli. Also her great-grand-daughters Autumn, Reighlynn, and Laina.
She was predeceased by her father and mother, George and Catherine Howell; and her brothers David, Ray, and Morris Howell. She was a loving woman who loved her husband, family, and friends, and her two dogs, Ozzie, and Jay-Z. She will be missed by many.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Lorna for a period of visitation in the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial in Groton Cemetery will be held in the spring.
