Elliot L. Blood, Jr., 93, of West Groton, died Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016, at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley, Littleton. His wife of 70 years, Doris M. (Lindall) Blood died March 25th of this year.

David William Owen died August 17, 2016. Born April 2, 1950 in Ayer, David spent most of his life in Groton. As a young man, David participated in the march on Washington in 1963 and at a subsequent march in 1969 as a SDS member. Later, as his idealism left him, he enjoyed his pipe and good conversation. Predeceased by his parents, Bob and Carlene Owen of Groton, David is survived by his siblings Peter, Ellen, Melody, Ian, Evan, Robert, and Jon.
