Carolyn Matheson and Ted Hartvigsen Vander Linden Wed

Carolyn Matheson, daughter of Malcolm and Isabel Matheson of San Jose, Costa Rica, and Ted Vander Linden, son of Pat Hartvigsen and Chuck Vander Linden of Groton, were married on August 10, 2014.

The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Elea Kemler at First Parish Church of Groton. The reception was held at Gibbet Hill.

Carolyn graduated from the Country Day High School in Escazu, Costa Rica and from Tufts University in Boston with a dual degree in Public Health and Psychology. She is currently working for Boston Health Care for the Homeless while finishing up a Masters in Nursing program at North Eastern University.

Ted graduated from Groton Dunstable Regional High School and from Emory University in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelors of Science in Economics. He is currently employed by Navin, Haffty & Associates and is working toward his MBA at Boston University.

Following their wedding, the couple spent 12 days in France. They are in the process of purchasing a home in Swampscott.
