Sixty people attended a lecture on Landscaping for the Birds at Nashua River Watershed Association Sunday, February 28. Ellen Sousa, author of "The Green Garden", spoke of the best shrubs, trees, and plants to include in local gardens to support birds and food sources that they need to thrive and keep the environment in balance.
The annual free lecture was co-funded by Groton Garden Club and Groton Commissioners of Trust Funds.
