Hannah Robillard Wins Boston Globe Scholastic Art Award
Hannah Robillard, Groton resident and Landmark School Sophomore, won a Boston Globe Scholastic Art Award. Robillard entry in printmaking entitled "The Three Little Pigs" received a Gold Key and will advance to the national level of competition.
Over 9,500 pieces were submitted by students, grades 7 - 12, from public and private schools throughout Massachusetts in this year's competition.
Landmark School, a boarding and day school for students (grades 2 - 12) with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, received 37 awards overall, one of the top winning private schools in the state.
Boston Globe Scholastic Art & Writing Award Gold Key awardees' work will be on view and open to the public in Boston City Hall at Government Center March 7- Sunday, March 30, Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Winners of the national competition will be publicly recognized at a ceremony at Carnegie Hall in June.
