PEOPLE: Robert Whalen Resigns as Manager of Groton Country Club
Robert Whalen, General Manager of the Groton Country Club has resigned his position. His final day will be June 14.
During his five-year tenure, Bob made a host of valuable contributions to the revitalization of the Club and he will be missed. The Club is well prepared to meet needs of members and guests this season with the addition of a new head golf professional, opening of the new pub, the pool scheduled to open on Memorial Day weekend, and summer camp and junior golf programs to begin at close of the school year. There is no doubt that this would not have all been possible without Bob's hard work, professionalism and expertise.
The GCC Management team met with Mark Haddad and Bob Whalen to discuss a transition plan to ensure the Club continues to operate smoothly this season and ensure every member and guest has a great leisure time experience.
