Platt Builders Wins Big in Chicago

Builders from across the country gathered in Chicago Oct.17 for their annual Remodeling Show where Platt Builders of Groton won multiple honors. At the 2013 Professional Remodeler Design Awards, Platt's Senior Sales Consultant, Diana MacLeod of Groton, took the stage repeatedly to receive recognition during the ceremony.

Platt Builders earned honors in four categories, bringing home three gold awards and one bronze. The gold projects included a sunroom addition, a carriage house remodel, and a kitchen renovation in an antique colonial. A master suite renovation received a bronze award. Winners were chosen on the basis of construction quality, overall design, creativity, problem solving and value, and are featured in the October issue of Professional Remodeler magazine.

MacLeod said, "It was an honor to be amongst so many talented builders, architects and designers from across the United States. I wish everyone who worked on these projects could've been there, especially our talented carpenters."

In addition to awards for the four projects, Platt Builders received an additional trophy as one of Professional Remodeler's Market Leaders, a national list identifying the top three remodelers in major markets.
